This course is designed with the Energy Auditor, Quali ty Control Inspector, and Program Manager in mind. In this course we will c over why the SWS was developed and by whom it was developed; how to create an account; how to provide your personal feedback and recommendations to th e SWS reviewing committees; how to create a mini-field guide for each speci fic weatherization job; how the QCI can create a guide for failed tasks and how to navigate the SWS for single-family, manufactured homes, and multifa mily projects. The SWS has major topics but is also encompasses finer detai ls related to weatherization that will be covered in the course. We will al so explore how the SWS, the Indiana Weatherization Field Guide, and the QCI report can be utilized to strengthen the quality of your weatherization pr ogram when used in conjunction with each other. Understanding how to utiliz e the SWS to its fullest capacity is of utmost importance for compliance wi th US Department of Energy weatherization projects and it is strongly encou raged that all energy auditors, quality control inspectors, and program man agers attend this course.
