OIL FURNACE SEMINAR This two day session covers inspection and testing of vented oil fired heating appliances. Participants will become familiar with oil heating components and operational characteristics with the goal in mind being competent inspection, testing and repair. This session is designed for either Weatherization Auditors making inspections or Technicians providing repairs. Topic areas include: components and operation, oil furnace combustion, methods of measuring combustion efficiency and the improvement of combustion efficiency. An Oil Furnace Inspection form is provided help facilitate inspection and documentation. Heating Technician Certification components are included in this class.
