INTRODUCTION TO PRISM SOFTWARE PRISM stands for the PRInceton Scorekeeping Method. It is widely accepted as the standard for energy analyses software and is used by utilities, government agencies, research institutions, and now weatherization operators. It compares meter readings from specific houses to historical weather data for a given region to produce a statistically accurate estimation of heating and/or cooling fuel usage. Our one day course is designed to provide instruction in the basic use of PRISM Advanced Version 1.0 to in-state Weatherization Program Operators and other new PRISM users.
