HIGH DENSITY WALL INSULATION This two day course introduces the materials, tools and techniques that are required in order to maximize the air sealing potential of cellulose insulation installed in closed wall cavities. The course is conducted primarily at a job site to provide hands-on experience and is aimed at installers and their supervisors. Some of the topics covered are: Pulling, rather than drilling through, different types of siding; "tubing" walls to insure optimum density and complete cavity fill with minimum down-time; how to find and fill "key junctures" in residential framing. Building Technician I Certification components are included in this class.
