Gas and Oil Furnace Condemnation Seminar
When determining the viability, safety and efficiency of existing heating systems, many test methods are inaccurate and obsolete. This one day course gives technicians the ability to determine when a gas or oil combustion appliance is unsafe and beyond repair. From simple tools such as lights and mirrors to the more sophisticated (Sensit/HETKIT) Tracer Gas test, participants will learn state of the art heat exchanger testing procedures. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools and test instruments. This course works well in conjunction with the Whole House Heat Load Calculation class and the New Furnace Installation Inspection class as it would combine all the aspects of replacing heating equipment.  Heating Technician Certification components are included in this class.
