GAS HEATING SYSTEMS INSPECTION FOR TECHNICIANS This four day session covers inspection and testing of vented gas appliances. Participants will become familiar with gas appliance components and operational characteristics with the goal in mind being competent inspection, testing and repair. This training is designed for the Technicians who may be performing inspections or will be making the safety and efficiency repairs deemed necessary by the Weatherization Auditor. A safety and efficiency "flow chart" is used to help facilitate thorough inspection and documentation. "Worst Case" draft and CO testing are featured in this course. This is a recommended prerequisite for some of the other mechanical courses listed here. Heating Technician Certification components are included in this class.
