APPLYING PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL This two day class is designed for experienced air-sealers and insulators, not for first-time blower door users. The goal of the course is to show Building Technicians how to utilize pressure differential (PD) to improve the speed and effectiveness of their work. They will learn how to measure PD by using a digital manometer and will be introduced to the latest, most user-friendly PD techniques. Training will start in the classroom, but will be primarily hands-on at a local house. Critical air leakage paths will be identified and sealed and post-work measurements will confirm the improvement of the pressure boundary and reduction of the whole-house leakage rate. Building Analyst Certification components are included in this class.
