Asset management/Asset inventory for small drinking water systems. Web
conference. For EPA, States, Technical Assistance Providers and
Systems.

This webcast has been developed for state, tribal, and water utility
personnel and technical assistance providers who are active in the
drinking water program. Keeping all the components of your water

EPA's Technology Assistance Centers (TACs) and Tools for Small
Drinking
Water Systems. Web conference. For EPA, States, Technical Assistance
Providers and Systems.

This webcast is for all new and veteran staff interested in learning
more about the Technology Assistance Centers (TACs). The TACs are a
consortium of 8 universities across the nation, whose purpose is to
work
with small public water systems to assist them in acquiring and
maintaining long term sustainability (technical, managerial and
financial capacity). The webcast will cover who the TACs are, how
they
are funded, and give you a sample of the types of products they
produce.
In addition to the TACs products/tools, new EPA tools for small

Multiple Barrier Approach and Sustainability. Web conference. For EPA,
States, Technical Assistance Providers and Systems.

This webcast has been developed for state, tribal, and water utility
personnel and technical assistance providers who are active in the
drinking water program. The multiple barrier approach provides
"defense
in depth" against waterborne pathogens and chemical contaminants
that
can cause a variety of illnesses and conditions. By erecting barriers
against these contaminants at each step in the treatment process,
systems can protect the health and well being of the people who rely
on
them for potable water. Implementation of effective multiple barriers
of protection will require technical, financial, and managerial
resources. By improving system sustainability, a system's ability
to
create and maintain effective barriers increases.
